Sunday, October 31, 1909 C.D. Reasor Dead The Gazetteer regrets to announce the death of our pioneer townsman, C.D. Reasor, which occurred at his home, northwest of the city Wednesday. Mr. Reasor located here about thirty years ago. While he has been engaged in the dairy business he was an active man in other pursuits. He was one of the most honorable, upright men that has ever lived in this community. In every relation in his life he has bore himself with honor and dignity and discharged the dignities of citizenship with an eye single to the welfare of the community. He will be missed by a large circle of friends and long remembered for his genuine worth. He had reached the ripe age of 75 years. He was born in New York and came to Texas in 1876. He leaves a widow and four children: Mrs. Ella Ball, Shawnee, J.C. Reasor and G.B. Reasor, Denison, and Ed. Reasor, Shawnee. The deceased was laid to rest at Fairview.
