1999, in the Manor West Nursing Center in Temple, Texas.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Fairview Cemetery in Denison at 2 p.m. on Saturday, October 23. She was born in 1908, in Cottondale, Alabama to Arthur Burke and Ozella Goins. She grew up in Denison, Texas where she married Weldon Gaskill in 1930, and raised her family. While living in Denison, she was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Katy Railway Clerks Axillary, the St. Xavier's Academy Alumni and other organizations. She moved to Temple in 1955, and had been a member of the First Baptist Church there since that time and was an active member of the Ruth Class when she died. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors are one daughter, Margrita Van Etten of Temple, Texas; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Temple.  Stanley W.
