OUR NEIGHBOR
Frank Colbert was on our streets the early part of the week.
Mrs. Frank Colbert was shopping in the city on Thursday.
Col. Lem Reynolds of Panola county, was in the city the early part of the week.  He expresses great confidence in the election of Wm. L. Byrd to the governorship of the Chickasaw nation.
Joe Perry, the well known cattle man of the Chickasaw and Choctaw nations, was in the city Wednesday.  Joe states that his little son was accidentally shot in the leg by a farm hand.  The wound was very slight.
Mr. Jim Webster, of Tishomingo, was in the city Wednesday.  Jim informs the Gazetteer that Gov. Wolf, with his interpreter, Eli
Goferph, R.M. Harris and Robert L. Boyd, national secretary, left Monday to join U.S. Indian Agent Owens, who is expelling cattle from the Chickasaw nation.
