Sunday, July 22, 1877 Albert Schwalbe, a German, residing near the refrigerator, received on Friday a letter from St. Louis, informing him that his brother, Albrecht, a young man of about 22 years of age, had been run over by the cars at St. Louis, on the 16th of this month, and instantly killed.
