Joseph Bauman, born 31 Oct 1854 in Missouri; died 28 Sep 1934 in Castro, Texas.  He was the son of  Andrew Bauman and Fidelia Victoria Herzog.  He married Mary Ramharter 20 Nov 1890 in Humphrey, NE. Mary Ramharter  was born 21 May 1870 in Austria; died 13 Sep 1930.  She was the daughter of Joseph Ramharter and Anna Maria Steinbock. 

The Joseph Ramharter family came to America from Austria and maybe settled around the Chicago area.  Shortly after that, Mary Ramharter went to Humphrey, NE to be with her cousin, Mrs. Frank Brockhaus. There she met Joseph Bauman who had come to
NE for health reason. Missouri's climate was too damp.  Joseph Bauman learned carpentry from Frank Brockhaus and Fredinand Ruchs, a relative of Johanna Fuchs (Mrs. Frank Brockhaus). 
Sometime before the birth of the third child, Angela, Joseph and Mary Bauman traveled into OK and settled in Okarche, where they raised their family.

Frank Anton Bauman, born 30 Jul 1900 in Okarche, Kingfisher Co, Oklahoma; died 21 Oct 1973 in Hart, Castro, Texas.  He was the son of Joseph Bauman and Mary Ramharter.  He married  Martha Huseman 25 May 1931. Burial: Hart Cemetary, Hart, TX. He was a farmer and mechanic. Martha Huseman was born 06 Mar 1914 in Castro, Texas; died 21 Mar 1990 in Hart, Castro, Texas.  She was the daughter of  John Huseman and Katherine Louise Thier. Children of Frank Bauman & Martha Huseman i.    Joseph John Bauman, born 03 Jun 1933; died 10 May 1998 in Lubbock TX; married Linda Ruth Brown.  ii.    Antoinette Bauman, born 18 May 1935; died 05 Jul 1980.  iii.    Patricia Bauman, born 09 Mar 1932; married Lyndall Warren; born 14 Dec 1929; died 10 Mar 1989.

Joseph John Bauman, born 03 Jun 1933; died 10 May 1998 in Lubbock TX.  He was the son of  Frank Anton Bauman and Martha Huseman.  He married Linda Ruth Brown. Linda Ruth Brown was born 1940; died Sep 1994 in Grayson County, TX.  She was the daughter of Herman George Brown and Ethel Mae Kennom.

Franklin George Bauman, was the son of Joseph John Bauman and Linda Ruth Brown.  He married  Natalie Denise Wester 02 May 1985 in Pottsboro, Grayson, Texas, USA.  She was the daughter of Calvin Eugene Wester and Shirley Ann Shelton.  She was adopted by Henry Sherman Clountz and Florence Lucille Cook.   Marriage: Married at 7:30 pm at Willow Springs church of Christ building by preacher Ollie Duffield.  She was born 01 Mar 1960 in Denison, Grayson, TX, USA.  She is the daughter of Henry Sherman Clountz and Florence Lucille Cook.
