They Were Disappointed.

Sherman, Tex., Sept. 15 - A delayed train caused disappointment here among the local membership Sons of Hermann and their wives and daughters.

The Texas delegation, twelve in number, who are enroute to the national conclave at New Ulm, Minn. were to have been the guests of the Sherman lodge at a banquet to-night prior to their departure from the state via this city, but the delay above mentioned, prevented it. The ladies had prepared a most delicious banquet for the party of distinguished visitors. John H. Rickelman of Sherman, a delegate, will join the party to-morrow morning.
