Newspaper: Anzieger des Suedens
The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, April 28, 1895 pg. 4 Wm. Berger, representing Wartberg Lodge, Sons of Herman, and Wm. Geiger, the Widuking Lodge, at the annual meeting of the Sons of Herman at Waco t his week, returned home Friday. Editor F. Runge, of the ANsiger des Seuders, who had been down to San Antonio, and who stopped off at Waco a few days, returned home Wednesday.  1895 F. Runge, editor of Ansiger des Seuders, aka Anzeiger des Suedens, visited San Antonio and Waco. 1896-1897 Max Beck, editor of Anzeiger des Suedens, lives at 408 North Houston Avenue. Elsewhere, the same City Directory lists Anzeiger des Suedens, German weekly newspaper, 115 North Houston Avenue, K. F. Runge, editor and proprietor. K. Fred Runge lives at 118 West Gandy Street. Anzeiger des Suedens, 115 North Houston Avenue, was listed also under “printers” in the business directory portion of this City Directory.
