A NEGRO SHOT

A strange Negro has been hanging around in precinct 2 and one night last week Constable Bryant went after him for carrying a pistol and also on a report that he was a fugitive from Grayson county, where he was wanted for killing his wife. The negro was found who gave him a shotgun load of bird shot as he ran off. The Negro stopped three miles away to have the shot picked out, and was not seriously hurt.
