Meeting of Negro Business League.
J. S. Love, president of the local Negro Business League, has recently received a letter  from Emmit J. Scott, private secretary to Booker T. Washington and corresponding secretary of the National Negro Business League, asking that the local league make an earnest endeavor to be represented at the next national meeting in Topeka, Kansas, next August. This will be the first meeting of the organization in a Western city, and efforts are being made to surpass all previous meetings.
A meeting of the local league has been called for Friday night at the A.M.E. Church.
