Tal Mixon and David Williams, two colored lads, were before Justice Pearson this evening charged with malicious mischief - riding and driving horses at night without the knowledge and consent of the owners - David Williams was discharged, but Tal was remanded to jail in default of the payment of a fine of $10 and costs of suit.

Ben Giles, colored, indicted over a year ago for theft from the person, but who escaped from the officers, was rearrested last night by Deputy Sheriff Preston and lodged in jail.  Giles will serve out his fine and costs on the county road.
