Thursday, October 20, 1887 pg.4 EAST SHERMAN Ed White, col., aged 12 years, rode the cannon ball train as far as Willow street this morning and jumped off. His face is skinned and he limps. This is the evidence he has that he stole a ride. There is a colored revival in progress at the church just west of the Red Bridge, on Broughton street. "Uncle Jimmy," an old colored man who lives on the Denison road, near the Central railway, celebrated his 113th brithday recently. Editors
