P.J. Hunter 1868 - 1952
Dallas Morning News 17 September 1930 Special to the News Sherman, Texas, Sept. 16 - Mrs. Rosa Hunter, 61, wife of P.J. Hunter, died at the family residence west of Dorchester. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Range Creek Church, with burial in the Ethel Cemetery. Surviving Mrs. Hunter. besides her husband, are two sons, Ben Hunter of Dallas and Fred Hunter of Dorchester; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Johnson of Hood River, Oregon, Mrs. John Park of Galesville, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Frank Griffin of Lamoille, Minnesota. One brother, James Irvine of Lacrosse, Wis. Dallas Morning News 10 Nov 1921 Sherman, Texas, Nov.9 - Arthur G. Hunter, 62 years old, died in Sherman Tuesday night at 11 o'clock, following a five days illness with pneumonia. Mr. Hunter, who was single, made his home with his brother, P.J. Hunter, at Dorchester. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8 pm at Ethel Cemetery, where interment will be made, and will be conducted by the Rev. T. M. Wilhoit.
