Nix 25 November 1828 - 28 March 1918 Dallas Morning News Mar 30, 1918 Deaths Nix - Sherman, Texas, March 29- John Nix, 80 years of age, died at Ethel yesterday afternoon and burial was in the cemetery there this afternoon. He is survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs. W.H. Baker of Ethel. He was a pioneer of the Ethel Community, but for the last seven years he had resided in Arizona, returning to Grayson County recently.
