McClendon Dallas Morning News 5 February 1937 DEATHS (Special to The News) McClendon - Sherman, Texas, Feb. 4 - Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for William Sidney McClendon, 61, who died Wednesday at his home in Whitesboro. McClendon came to Grayson County thirty-nine years ago and had lived near Whitesboro seventeen years. Surviving are his wife; four sons, Roy McClendon, Carl McClendon and Scotty McClendon of Whitesboro; and Willie McClendon of Willowranch, Calif.; and three daughters, Mrs. O.L. Huffman of Willowranch and Miss Annie Lee and Miss Catherine of Whitesboro; two brothers, Tom McClendon of Madill, Okla.; and Charles McClendon of Boulder, Colo.; and two sisters, Mrs. Catherin Koch of Miami, Fla.; and Mrs. Neva Parrish of Rush Springs, Okla.
