Friday, May 23, 1913 Mrs. J.A. Hamm Dead Mrs. J.A. Hamm, wife of our merchant J.A. Hamm, died last Thursday morning after a lingering illness of 14 months and 15 days. All that kind hearts and willing hands could do was to no avail for her Father had called her home to him. She was a native Texan being born in Raines county in 1856 making her 57 years of age. She was the mother of three children, all of them being grown and married. She was a member of the Baptist church. She was buried in the Ethel cemetery Friday evening, Bro. Kerr officiating in the funeral ceremony. The family desires to express their thanks to their faithful friends and neighbors for constant assistance and sympathy given them in their hour of distress and sorrow. We extend to the bereaved family our sincerest sympathy. Ethel Cemetery Susan Hawkins © 2024 If you find any of links inoperable, please send me a message. |
