  Laura Lee Smith Weger of Coweta, Oklahoma, formerly of Denison, Texas was born in Plains, Texas on February 24, 1942, daughter of Guy and Carrie Smith with 3 siblings - older brother, Arvis; younger sister, Erliene; and younger brother, Leland. She passed away on June 26, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 1959 she married Bill Weger from Denison, Texas; they had 2 children - a son, Ray and a daughter, Kay. She was preceded in death by her parents; older brother; sister-in-law and brother-in-law. She is survived by son, Ray Weger and wife, Debbie Davis, of San Antonio; daughter, Kay Poindexter and husband, Lehman, of Porter, Oklahoma. Six grandchildren, Ashley Amerson and husband, Karl, of Dallas, Texas; Austin Weger and partner, Dylan Darilek, of College Station, Texas; Jason Poindexter of Porter, Oklahoma; Blakyn Poindexter of Muskogee, Oklahoma; Corey Davis and wife, Elizabeth, of San Antonio, Texas; Lindsay Davis and husband, Kennety Grover, of San Antonio, Texas. Five great-grandchildren, Tyler and Barret Amerson; Bristol Poindexter; Harley and Morgan Grover. Graveside services were held Monday morning, July 6, 2020 at the Elliott Cemetery in Van Alstyne, Texas.
