Friday, April 25, 1958 pg. 2 Funeral services for Jack R. Bigbee, 72, were held at Bratcher Funeral Chapel Sunday afternoon with Rev. A.P. Skaggs officiating. Interment was in Dripping Springs Cemetery. Mr. Bigbee died at his home, 2728 W. Walker, Saturday, April 19, 1958 after 6 months illness. Deceased was born in the Star community December 4, 1885, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustavis Bigbee. He was married in Denison September 9, 1952 to Mrs. Jennie Carter. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors are his widow of Denison; a step-son, Edward L. Carter of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina; 4 daughters, Mrs. C.E. Burton of Ft. Worth; Doris Burton, Mrs. J.R. Freeman and Mrs. Billy O'Neal, all of Sherman; 3 sisters, Mrs. Jo Kilgore of Hammet, California; Mrs. O.R. Palmer and Mrs. D. Anderson, both of Durant; a niece, Mrs. M.E. Templemeyer of Denison; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
