November 10, 1898 Death of Dr. Todd Denison ,Tex., Nov. 9 - Dr. William Todd died near Dripping Springs, Grayson County, on Sunday, the 31st of October. Dr. Todd was born in Monticello, Ala. He came to Grayson County, Texas, in 1854. In 1861 he returned to his old home in Notasulga, Ala., where he entered the Confederate Army as a lieutenant in the thirtyfourth Alabama Regiment. After peace had been restored he came back to Texas, where he has resided ever since. He spent more than half of his seventy two years in Grayson County and was well known and much loved. A large concourse of freinds and relatives followed his body to its last resting place in Dripping Springs cemetery. The doctor was a Mason and member of the Primitive Baptist Church.
