August 7, 1912 Sherman , Tex., Aug. 6 - J.T. McDanniel who has been a citizen of Grayson County for the past forty years, died at his home in the Dripping Springs community. Burial was in the cemetery there. He is survived by hsi widow and two daughters. The daughters are Mrs. R.E. Edwards of Bonham and Mrs. T.H. Cox who lived on the farm with her parents and her own family. Mr. McDanniel was a Confederate Soldier and located in this county shortly after the war.
