July 3, 1930 Children, Drowned, are buried together. Denison, Texas, July 2 - Mildred Hill, 17 and her brother, John 13. who waded hand in hand into the Red River Wednesday afternoon and were drowned, were buried in one grave Thursday afternoon. The little church in the Dripping Springs community was crowded with friends during the funeral hour. The girl's body was recovered soon after the accident. Her brother's body was found at 5 o'clock Thursday morning after an all night search of the river. The children were on a family picnic when the accident occurred.  Johnny D.
