 Lem Bowers, age 62, died at 6:35 o'clock Sunday evening at the home of his brother, Jesse Bowers, 2 miles north of Denison.
Deceased is survived by his widow and 3 children of Flowing Wells and 5 brothers, Jesse Bowers of Denison; Jim Bowers of Whitesboro; and Isaac, George and John, all of Pilot Point. Funeral services were held at Short-Murray chapel Tuesday morning, Rev. H.R. Long officiating. The remains were taken overland to Dixie Cemetery north of Whitesboro for interment.
