  Alvin King 17 March 1927 - 8 July 2007 Kathy King 13 September 1930 - 22 July 2005  Alvin was born in Robert Lee, Texas to George and Carrie Plumlee King. He married Karherine Miller Oct. 7, 1946 in Rotan, Texas.
Alvin was a WW II Veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Saratoga. He drove a delivery truck for King's Butane in Stanley, N.M., for many years. He had lived in Whitesboro since 1991. He was a member of the Bones Chapel Baptist Church in Whitesboro.
