  Floyd C. Jackson 1916 - 1936 Dallas Morning News
July 7, 1936 Floyd Jackson, 20, was drowned Saturday afternoon in Red River, fifteen miles north of Whitesboro. He attempted to swim across the river and when within about twenty feet of the bank he suddenly sank. Justice Simpson rendered a verdict of accidental drowing .
