WHITESBORO
- Funeral Services for Natalee Nichole Hightower, 24, of Whitesboro
will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Meador
Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Johnathan Mason officiating. Interment
will follow at Dixie Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday,
September 15th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She passed
away at her home Friday, September 11, 2015, with her family by her
side.
She was born June 12, 1991, and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints. She graduated from Whitesboro High School in 2009, and Southeastern State University with a BA in 2013. She was on the Colorguard all during her high school and college years, and became an instructor for Kingston, OK ISD. She was working as a counselor for the Women’s Crisis Center in Utah and Durant, OK. She loved to read and watch movies and was involved in church and the outreach to others in need. Natalie had gone back to school at Southeastern to pursue a nursing degree. She became a Sane Examine Nurse. She was a very giving and selfless person who would give anything she had to a person in need. Pallbearers will be Doug Teel, Tim Teel, Richard Hightower, Preston Hightower, Joey Teel and Jarelle Hightower. She is survived by her mother, Bridgette Hightower of Whitesboro; grandmother, Belvy Nelson of Whitesboro; great-grandmother, Annie Mae Oden; brother, Dillian Hightower of Whitesboro, and cousins, Darika Chappell and Jarelle Hightower and many other cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by two cousins, Justin and Tiffany Hightower. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Grayson County, 505 W. Center St., Sherman, Texas 75090; and Will Power Children’s Cancer Research Fund, 7301 Ohms Lane, Minneapolis, MN 55439.
