Southmayd- Funeral services for Michael Rodney Davis will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday March 21 at Waldo Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. Michael, 6, passed away Friday, March 15 at Children's Medical Center of Dallas.
Michael was born March 2, 2007 in Gainesville to Alex Davis and Cristen Lee. He was kindergartner at S&S Schools. He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, and riding go-carts and motorcycles.
Michael is survived by his parents, Alex Davis and Cristen Lee of Southmayd; sister, Zoe Davis; brother, Nathan Davis; grandparents, Rhonda Davis-Roman of Southmayd, Tina Jones of Whitesboro, and Gary Dillon of Whitesboro; great grandmothers, Joyce Cooper of Whitesboro and Ida Dillon of Tioga; three aunts, Andria Watson of Whitesboro, and Laine and Melody Davis, both of Southmayd; uncle, Drew Davis of Sherman; and cousins, Max Carr and Matthew Davis.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Drew Davis Sr and uncle, Rodney Lee.
