Services for Albert Guy Chambers, 71, a retired Daiser Aluminum employee of Whitesboro who died in a Sherman hospital Saturday, were held Monday at Huff Funeral Chapel in Whitesboro. Rev. Alan Shope, pastor of North Avenue Baptist Church, officiated. Nephews served as pallbearers. He was a brother of Forrest "Mug" Chambers of Olney. Chambers was born in the Sandusky community and was married to Lena Mable Phelps December 24, 1937 in the Dexter community. He was formerly an oil field worker. Survivors include his wife; a son, Don Chambers of Whitesboro; 3 brothers, Clyde of Wilson, Oklahoma; W.V. "Pete" of Gordonville; and Forrest of Olney; 2 sisters, Mrs. Bessie Daun and Mrs. Pauline Sandridge, both of Whitesboro; and 2 grandchildren. Burial was in Dixie Cemetery, near Whitesboro, under direction of Huff Funeral Home.
