Sunday, April 18, 1886 pg 7 Levi Lancaster committed suicide at a room in the Southern hotel, in Sherman last Tuesday night by taking morphine. No cause has been assigned for the act. Lancaster was of a jovial disposition, and seemed in the best of spirits the day previous to committing the rash act. He was fifty-six years of age.
