MINOR COURT NOTES
J. H. Parsons, alias John Vaugh, charged with the theft of a horse of S. H. Dunn in February, 1896, was held to answer in the sum of $750 to-day.  In default of bond he was remanded to await the action of the grand jury.
Dunn's evidence is
that Parsons bought the horse under the pretext that he intended to make a crop and making
a partial payment mortgaged other
property and went away with it all, and that he (Dunn) never saw him again until he was arrested at Collinsville.
