Court this morning, and is in progress at the present time.

ONE MONTH

J. Riley Reynolds gets a Month for Bigamy.

The case of the State of Texas vs. J. Riley Reynolds, charged with bigamy was completed in the District Court at
a late hour
last Saturday night and the case given to the jury. They returned a verdict of guilty and assessed the defendant's punishment at confinement in the State penitentiary for a term one month. He accepted sentence, and as yet no notice of appeal has been made, and if he exercises good judgment there will not be any. He will not be taken away from the Sherman prison for some weeks, and it is not likely will have to remain at Rusk for over a week.
