A search of the premises by Sheriff Douglass and Dr. Salmon, under the direction of Justice Pearle, results, it is alleged, in finding the body of an infant buried near the house in the orchard, which bore evidence, it is said, of having received a blow on the back part of the head, which Dr. Salmon thinks caused its demise.
