A BRIDE OF FORTY-EIGHT HOURS
Tuesday evening a rather petite little lady, giving her name as Mrs. Barney, arrived in the city from Terrell.  She stated to
the police that on the 19th inst. she was
married to a butcher by the name of Barney; that after living with her 48 hours, he
took French leave, and has not since been heard of.  No trace of Barney was discovered in this city, and it is believed the truant husband is secluded in the wilds of the B.I.T.
