March 1986 pg.2 DENISON - Cremation of Mrs. Pearl Zane, 87, of Route 1, who died Saturday at a Sherman nursing home, was Monday. Bratcher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Zane was born December 23, 1899 in Chicago, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Fichtner. She married Edward William Zane in 1921 in Chicago. She had lived here since 1951. Survivors are a son, Edward of Dallas; a daughter, Mrs. Arlene Wallis of Sherman; brother, John Fichtner of Clardendon Hill, Illinois; sisters, Mrs. Mildred Sweet of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Mrs. Violet Whiteley of Elmwood Park, Illinois; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
