  Marlene
Sue Willis passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at her
home. "To be absent from the body is to be present with the
Lord." Marlene's wishes to be cremated were honored.
Marlene was born September 1, 1953 in Lafayette, Louisiana, daughter of Bob and Louise Shaw Riley. She is preceded in death by her husband, H.W. Willis; and her parents. She leaves behind her 3 children: daughter, Lisa and husband Brian; son, Brandon and wife, Joni; and daughter Kimberly Willis. Marlene was blessed with 4 grandchildren: Bryce, Brayden, Lauren, and Olivia. She also leaves behind 6 siblings, Robert of Houston, Texas; Mike of Montgomery, Texas; Jeff of Cape Coral, Florida; Debbie of Slidell, Louisiana; LaTricy of Mobile, Alabama; and Charlene of Houston, Texas. Marlene loved football, especially her New Orleans Saints. She also loved to fish when she was able; and enjoyed her plants and flowers. She would take in any kid that needed a place to stay or food to eat; they knew she would let them stay. She will be miss beyond measure.
