- Vernon Thomas Whitworth passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Carrus
Specialty Hospital at the age of 72. He was born July 30,
1948 in Clarksville, son of William H. and Annie Francis (Burnbridge)
Whitworth. He worked as a welder and mechanic for Magni-Fab for
several years and was a member of the Pathway Church of God. He
enjoyed collecting various things and playing the guitar.
Mr. Whitworth is survived by his wife, Francis; 3 children, Melvin Whitworth; Rodney Whitworth and Kay Mutchler; 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; one brother, Randel Whitworth; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life was held later in the summer. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home.
