Vivian Ethel Wenger, 95, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at her home in Bells, Texas.
Vivian was born October 20, 1927 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, daughter of Leonard Swallom, Sr. and Ethel Swallom.  She was a blessing to her family. A kind soul and beloved wife, mother, daughter, grandma and "Aunt Sis".
Vivian and her husband, Jim, married in 1945 in Earlville, Iowa and made their home in Dysart, Iowa, moving later to Charlotte, Tennessee and finally landing in Bells, Texas in their later years.
She loved the outdoors, working hard, and flowers, but mostly her family.  Her grands were her pride and joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved  husband, James 'Jim" Wenger; her daughter, Judy Irby; her son, Jimmie Wenger; and brother, Leonard Swallom, Jr.
She will be sadly missed by her brother, Chuck Swallom and his extended family; her grandchildren: Lisa and Brad Straw and Jodie and Kelly McGill; great-grandchildren: Noah Straw (Christian), Scott Straw, Sean Lee (Paige), Jacob Rush (Jane), Shannon Gardner (Cameran), Keeghan McGill, Rhiann McGill, and Deaglan McGill; great-great-grandchildren: Kaybree, Emma, Ava, Ryan, Audrey, Lewis, Kaden, Delaney, Pipel, Riley and R onan.

We love you Grandma.  See you soon!

Vivian was cremated according to her wishes.  Family and friends gathered to celebrate her life Saturday, afternoon, September 30, 2023 at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas.
