 Roger Lee Van Winkle, 77, went home to be with the Lord Monday, September 14, 2020 in Sherman.
Mr. Van Winkle was born June 6, 1943 in Lexington, Oklahoma, son of Paten and Ruth Copeland Van Winkle. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Sharlyn. Mr. Van Winkle leaves behind his wife; son, Randall Van Winkle; daughter, Kathy Van Winkle; granddaughter, Isabelle Van Winkle; and numerous brothers and sisters. Mr. Van Winkle was cremated according to his wishes. No services were planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.
