Steve Ross, 74, passed away Monday, February 1, 2021 at a local hospital.  He was born July 12, 1946.  He was a Navy veteran, business owner, retired registered nurse, and worked part-time at Securitas Security services.  He believed in God, loved to travel and enjoyed the outdoors.  He was known to be the best "Paw Paw" and loving father.
He is survived by his children,  Steven Rossar; Steven Satterfield; and MacKenzie Ross. Step-father to Shirley Claxton, Sammy Holcomb, Sharon Goyne, Saundra Holcomb.
He was a devoted grandfather to many grandchildren.  His youngest grandchild being Quincy Hunter, Tenea Intriago; Damian Conrad; Adynne Baeza; Hailey Satterfield; Langdon Baeza; Thaddeus Barnett; Finnegan Dougan and Teagan Dougan.  As well as multiple nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by siblings, Joyce McClain and Martha Morse, as well as surviving sisters, Cynthia Whatley and Karen Daniels.  Also his Aunt Rozelle Riley.
A constant in his life and dear to his heart were Mary Kirby and niece, Jennifer Dougan.
He requested to be cremated.
