Carole Moody of Howe, Texas passed away on May 26, 2023 in Howe. She was born Rita Carole Allen, daughter of Margerete Leggett
and Roy Wilson Allen on June 18, 1947 in Denison, Texas.  She married John Moody in 1973 and one child, Christian Moody, was born to that union.

Carole attended Denison schools and was in the class of 1966.  She attended Grayson County College to become a teacher's aide but changed course.  She worked at Wright's Drive-In in Denison, Texas for 34 years. Later, she attended Mt. Vernon Regional Junior College, becoming a certified psych tech, but then she changed course again.  She started her own marketing company, Moody Marketing LLC, and became a marketing specialist for many years until her health forced her to retire several years ago.
Carole was known as an avid music lover, and she was a wonderful guitarist and singer.  Over the years, she shared her musical gifts
with family and friends.  She and her siblings played and sang together, and they had the harmony that only siblings share.  She was an outstanding cook, and she offered her warm hospitality to so many over the years.   She loved children and animals, and they loved her right back.  She had a wicked sense of humor and a sharp wit, and she loved to laugh.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters, Geneva Rockwood and Martha Jo Ruff; and 2 brothers, Rick Allen and Mancel Allen;
and also special  friend, Linda.
She is survived by her daughter, Christian Davis and husband, Mike; grandchildren, Taylor Goff and wife, Courtney, and Bailey Moody
and wife, Brittany; one great-grandchild, Preslee; one sister, Venita Foran; and bonus grandchildren, Dylan, Jeremy, Jay, Kaden, and Aubrey Davis.

the fellowship hall of the church.   Pastor Raymond England officiated.
Carole was cremated and the family will inter her ashes in a private ceremony at a later date.
