After a battle with cancer, Shelly Elaine Miller went to hold the Lord's hand on July 30, 2021 in Denison, Texas at the age of 35.  She leaves behind her husband, Justin Miller, and children, Landon, Luke and Penny.
Shelly was born on February 20, 1986 in Tyler, Texas, daughter of Doyle Compton and Mary Compton.  She grew up in a large, loving family with 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  She married Justin on January 4, 2012, and they loved each other fiercely. She was a beautiful soul and shined her light on everyone around her and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Shelly is survived by her husband and children, as well as her sisters: Sherry Watson, Trish Redden, and Leigh Anne White; and brothers, Brandon McDermott and Tim Adams; her father and numerous grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
She is preceded in death by her mother; grandfathers, Roland Schmitt and Charles Gray, Sr.; great-grandmother, Charlise Gray; and uncle, Charles Gray, Jr.
Shelley requested to be cremated.  A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday afternoon, August 4, 2021 at Fisher Funeral Home in Denison, Texas; all are welcome.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to be made to Fred W. Wilson, American Post 62.
