Tuesday, December 10, 2019 Betty Jean Madden, 90, slipped peacefully
into the arms of Jesus at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas.
Mrs. Madden was born January 10, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Harry and Georgia Light Edwards. She loved children and was a nanny for many years and the children cared for her dearly as she did them. To Betty's delight many children still stayed in contact with her. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. Mrs. Madden leaves behind her children, Georgie Geist of Kemp, Texas; Richard Luff of Arlington, Texas; Lelann Redden of Arlington, Texas; Lola Farmer of Denison, Texas; 9 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Madden was cremated according to her wishes and no services were planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home.
