Mark D. Kimmell, 58, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at The Homestead of Denison.
Mark was born November 22, 1960 in San Diego, California, son of Doyal and Laurie Pepin Kimmell. He was a bus driver for Pottsboro ISD and a member of the Elks Lodge #238 in Denison. Mark enjoyed music and playing his guitar, creative writing, movies and reading, and especially time with his family. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and nephew. Mark leaves behind his parents of Pottsboro, Texas; sister, Cassie Kimmell Green and husband, Scott, of Spring, Texas; brother, David Kimmell and wife, Kristen, of Arlington, Texas; nephew, JB Duncan and wife, Amy, of Cataula, Georgia; nephew, Matt Kimmell and wife, Cassie, of Dallas, Texas; nephew, Rion Duncan and wife, Tiff, of Camden, Arkansas; grandnephews, Jake and Tuck Duncan; grandniece, Rue Duncan, of Camden, Arkansas; uncle, Jim Pepin and wife, Cheryl, of Manassas, Virginia; uncle, Rod Kimmell and wife, Jan, of Newberg, Oregon; and aunt, Becky Elder, of Scottsdale, Arizona. Mark was cremated according to his wishes and there were no services planned. Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made for cancer research to UTSW Simmons Care Center or MD Anderson Cancer Center.
