Dewey Jackson, 75, of Denison passed away October 4, 2018.  A celebration of his life was held at a later date.  Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman. 
He was born to E.D. "Sonny" Jackson and Madene Ferguson Jackson on September 14, 1943 in Farmersville, Texas.  He married Bobbie Sinclair on February 1, 1964 in Garland, Texas.
He graduated high school in Farmersville and earned a degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1966.   Dewey and his family lived many years as an expatriate family while working for Texas Instruments.
He is survived by his wife; his children, Staci and Robert Schneider of Denison; Steven and Paola Jackson of Palm Springs, California; and his 3 grandchildren, Jennifer, Henry and Katy; and sister, LaVeda Caldwell of Garland, Texas.
Dewey is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Alice Johnson; and brother, Jerry Jackson.
