James Weldon Hood, Jr., 69, entered into eternal life Sunday, December 13, 2020 at his home in Denison, Texas.
James was born March 15, 1951 in Denison, Texas, son of James and Marjorie Mae Clement Hood.  He met and married Linda McMenamy.
James leaves behind his wife; son, Kevin Hood of Sherman, Texas; daughter, Sherra Fritz of Denison, Texas; step-sons, Jon Geesling of Denison, Texas and Joseph Geesling of Sherman, Texas; sister, Renee Ragsdale of Collinsville, Texas; brothers, Rick Hood of Denison, Texas; and Randy Hood  of Sherman, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Hood was cremated according to his wishes.  No services were planned.  Arrangements were under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, Denison, Texas.
