  Linda Weatherall Hodges, 90, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023 in Denison, Texas.
She was born December 22, 1932 in Roaring Springs, Texas, daughter of Samuel Watt Weatherall and Lois Martin Weatherall. Linda grew up in Paducah, Texas. She graduated from Paducah High School and attended West Texas State and TWU. She married J.T. Hodges, Jr. in Paducah on October 27, 1951. They raised their daughters, Kay and Jeanna, in Floydada, Texas until moving to Lubbock, Texas in 1971. Once retired, Linda and J.T. moved to San Angelo, Texas. Linda was preceded in death by her husband and her parents as well as her sisters, Sammie Weatherall, Louise Weatherall Hargrave, Norma Weatherall Feuerbacher; and brother, Ted Weatherall. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Kay Boutell and husband, Ron, of Canyon Lake, Texas and Jeanna McIntosh and h usband, Kirk, of Denison, Texas. Linda was also a proud grandmother of 3 - Stephanie Hart and husband, Dusty, of Sherman, Texas; Jate Gillen and wife, Jessica, of Spring, Texas; and Will Gillen and wife, Valerie, of Lubbock, Texas. One of the things she was most proud of was being a "Nanu" (great-grandmother) to 9 - Braydon, Jax, Marlie, Dalton, Wyatt, Madeline, Violet, John and Grace. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Cremation was under the guidance of Fisher Funeral Home. The family will hold a burial at a later date in San Angelo, T exas next to her husband, J.T.
