Sheila Kay Heath, aka "Granny Sheila", 73, of Whitesboro, Texas passed away at home on December 9,  2022 after a yearlong fight with cancer.
Sheila was born December 11, 1948, daughter of Harold Thomas and Eura V. Smith of Richardson, Texas.  Sheila  attended Richardson High School and soon after graduating married Claude Ronald Wilson of Dallas, Texas.   They welcomed one daughter, Sondra Wilson Clements in March 1966.
Sheila was known to be quite the "Hot Mess."  She was strong willed, stubborn to a fault, and extremely outspoken, even ornery at times, but also had the ability to make you laugh at what she may do or say at any moment.
She had a passion for horses and dancing.  Sheila was a member of the North Dallas Push Dance Club and won many awards during that journey.  These things were her only passion until the birth of her first grandchild, in October 1984, as the family grew her grandchildren and great-grandchildren became her  main focus in life.  Her unique personality and the way she loved was just who she was and different from most, but she loved her family and she will forever be missed.
Sheila was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Boyd Walker; and grandson, John Charles Hartwig.
Sheila is survived by her beloved aunt, Hazel Marie Adair of Hope, Arkansas; daughter, Sondra Clements and husband, Gary, of Whitesboro; grandchildren: Justin Speake and wife, Kate, of Melbourne, Arkansas; Angela Booe and husband, Shawn, of Sherman; Calley Cheaney and husband, Bobby, of Whitesboro; Joshua Clements of Whitesboro; her pride and joy - her 11 great-grandchildren: Kylie, Payson, Maddie, Annabelle and John Speake of Melbourne, Arkansas; Addison Grace and Kennedy Faith Hartwig of Granbury; Ryleigh Jo Booe of Sherman; Jaylyn Logan, Nate and Hadley Grace Cheaney of Whitesboro, as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews of Plano, Sulphur Springs, Whitesboro and Arkansas, along with many other close friends and family.
Sheila wished to be cremated and her only request for her memorial service to be held outdoors in the spring.  Due to this, there is no funeral service immediately planned.
