Bobby Mack Hammons of Howe, Texas was born August 8, 1933; he passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
Bobby was born son of Richard "Jack" Hamons and Virgie Cody.  He graduated from Howe High School, served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955, and later attended Grayson County College.  He retired from Fisher Control in McKinney as a machinist.
He is survived by his daughters, Annette Burkham and husband, Jackie, of Howe, Texas; and Lesa Whittington and husband, Jerry,
of Howe, Texas; son, Stephen Hamons and wife, Jennifer, of Denison, Texas; mother of his children, Margaret Carroll of Howe, Texas; brother, Dave Hamons and wife, Marti, of Arlington, Texas; his one grandson, Cody; and 7 granddaughters, Stephanie, Christin, Ashley, Payton, Jaclyn, Emily and Sarah; and 7 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters; and several nieces and nephews.
Bobby was proceded in death by his parents; sister, Joann; and son, Bobby Jack Hamons.
His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes spread at the farm of his brother, Dave, surrounded by family.
