A memorial service for Edward William Glade was held at 2:00 p.m.
Saturday October 22 at the Fairview Baptist Church. Rev. James Moore
officiated. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Waldo
Funeral Home. Mr. Glade, 70, passed away Tuesday, October 11 at the
Lifecare Hospital of Dallas.
Edward was born September 4, 1941 in Melrose Park, Illinois to Harold "Babe" Robert Martin Glade and Beverly (Gaffney) Glade. He attended San Diego schools and worked as a carpenter for many years. Edward was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, archery, and hiking. Mr. Glade is survived by his mother, Beverly Glade of Sherman; two nephews, Matthew Bass of Kentucky and Brian Bass of Missouri; two nieces, Debby Remizani of Denison and Chrissy Collins of Sherman; one uncle, Thomas Gaffney of Sherman; and numerous great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Patricia Bass; one brother, Richard Glade; and his grandmother, Frances Ibe.
