Parris E. Fisher passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 71, surrounded by his family.  Parris was born November 9, 1949 in Sherman, Texas, son of John and Billie Fisher.  He attended Denison High School and began his
career as a Master Electrician and Denison Firefighter.  He retired from Denison Independent School District as a Master Electrician after 28 years.  After Parris retired, he and his wife traveled as he continued his career with Cole Services.

Parris enjoyed fishing, hunting and making memorable treasures for his family.  He was a loving and devoted husband, Daddy, Popo, brother and uncle.
Mr. Fisher is survived by all who loved him dearly: his beloved wife, Wanda Dennis Fisher of Pottsboro, Texas; his daughters, Kerry Lee Ahhaitty and fiance, Shawn, of Denison, Texas; and Kindle Kay Short and husband, Wesley, of Pottsboro, Texas; sisters: Eulaia Ramey of Denison, Texas; and Jonna Delphin and husband, JJ, of Pottsboro, Texas; grandchildren, Amber Ahhaitty, Trevis Ahhaitty, Chelsie Fisher, Ryan Roach, Kylie Roach, Krisie Fisher, Ethan Short, and Ashley Short; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way; parent-in-laws, Gene and Billie Isom of Luella, Texas; numerous nephews and nieces and cousins.
Parris was preceded in death by his precious son, Kristopher Fisher; and his parents.
Parris was cremated according to his wishes.  A memorial service via Zoom for family and friends was held Saturday afternoon, January 30, 2021.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away.": Revelation 21:4.
