Jimmy
Dean Curlee was born August 6, 1957 in Sweetwater, Texas. He left this
world February 4, 2021 in his home with his loving family at his
side. He lived in Denison, Texas with his daughter, Toni, and her
family. Before his final days he got to enjoy living by the river
and fishing. He lost his short battle to pancreatic cancer.
He worked as a truck driver and traveled all over the United States. He worked in the oil fields and did everything from a rough neck to a pumper. He loved riding his bike and fishing. His family was important to him no matter how far away or how long he was gone; he would always find his way home. He enjoyed country music and scooting boot across the dance floor. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, James Dalton Curlee; mother, Velma Louise Parker Schubert; and grandparents, Tollie and Ivarene Parker. Mr. Curlee leaves behind his daughter, Toni Wheeler and husband, David Anglin, of Denison; son, Jimmy Dalton Curlee, of Denison; ex-wife, Ann Smith, of Denison; grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Zachary Anglin; Harley Anglin; Amber Anglin; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Sandy and husband, Pat Bromley, of Sweetwater, Texas; sisters Debora Lytle and Connie Hall of Cumby, Texas; brother, Damon Schubert of Longworth.
