  Sherman
- Joan Anderson of Sherman passed away Friday, May 2 at her home in
Sherman at the age of 65. Memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Monday
morning with cremation arrangements under the direction of Waldo
Funeral Home.
Joan was born on October 25, 1942 in Attalla, Alabama to the late Guy and Marie (Morris) Tucker. She graduated high school with honors and attended nursing school, volunteering at the Dallas Veterans Hospital. She married Richard Anderson on October 27, 1972 in Dallas. They moved to Sherman in 1993. Joan enjoyed arts and crafts, camping, fishing, reading, her animals, and most of all her family. She was a longtime member of the Bentley Baptist Church in Bentley, Oklahoma. Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband Richard of Sherman; two sons, Michael Thomas Anderson of Cochran, Georgia; and Robert Wayne Anderson of Sherman; four nephews and four nieces.
